Hands down on the fact that it is one of the most affordable drugstore makeup products, which sticks to the claims it makes.
L.A. Colors Pout Lip Gloss Matte is their most loved product amongst the customers because of its duel property, affordability and not to forget the beautiful shade range. The product has 11 different shades comprising of bright, dark and nudes. Though it is an amazing product it comes with its own share of drawbacks that we will discuss later on.
What L.A. Colors Pout Matte Lipstick Claims About:
How to Apply Liquid Lipstick:
It is an easy to apply product. It comes in a small transparent tube. It has a long doe foot applicator, which makes it convenient to apply. Girls with thinner lips many face a little problem while applying it, as it can get a bit clumsy. Another pro tip on applying this liquid lipstick is, you might want to apply a lip balm before going in with the product as the matte formula tends to get a little too drying sometimes (specially for people with naturally dry and chapped lips).

My Experience with L.A. Colors Pout Matte Lipstick:
Coming to my experience with this product, I have been using the product for about a week now. My favourite shade of this range has to be Enticing; it is a nude brown shade. Firstly, talking about the texture, I am not a huge fan of it. Though it goes on smoothly but it tends to get patchy on drying. Other thing I do not like about the product is that the glitter particles that see feels patchy on the lips after the liquid lipstick dries down. This gives a rough and unpleasant feel to the lips. But a good part about the Enticing shade particularly is that out of all the 11 shades this is better. It goes on the lips smoothly, does not get very patchy and though the glitter particles are rough it does not feel gritty on the lips.
The only good part about the product is the duel purpose it has which helps one sideline few of its flaws. It gives the lips a metallic tough even after drying out which in turn gives the lips a 3D texture. The formula can be a bit dry and tight, but that is not much of an issue as it can be dealt by applying a lip balm before going in with this product.
Talking about the durability, this product can easily last up to 8 hours, though you might start seeing wear off from the inner waterline after 4-5 hours. As the product is non-transferable and waterproof you can eat and drink anything and everything you like. Other thing to notice is that because of the waterproof lipstick property you might find slightly silicon touch to the lipstick, but I guarantee it is not an issue you need to worry about.
Pros:
1. Affordable
2. Bright shade range
3. Suitable for all skin tone
4. Sturdy packaging
5. 2 in 1 benefit
Cons:
1. Feels slightly gritty
2. Removing it is a task
3. Leaves the lips patchy
Rating:
3/5
Conclusion:
On having used it over a week and keeping in mind all the pros and cons, I personally would not recommend this lipstick as each shade behaves differently on lips. Though the duel property that is the plus part of the product is very eye catchy, one can buy this waterproof lipstick for experiment sake.
