Isn’t it the first brand of foundation that every girl has used in her life? I’m personally using Lakme Foundation since my childhood (Hello, I’m 90’s born!). This is definitely the best affordable foundation in the range of Lakme products. I love using this foundation on a daily basis. I’ve emptied about 2-3 bottles of it, I know that’s a lot. Coming back to the topic, Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation comes in a variety of shades, mine is shade – 02. It’s super affordable and suitable for Indian skin tones. I’ll quickly start with the review.
Claims for Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation:
Directions to Apply:
This foundation is water based so it’s a little runny, so you have to work with it really fast. The spatula attached to the lid makes it easy to take out the foundation. You can either apply it with your fingers, makeup sponge or any brush suitable for blending. Make sure to wash your hands and face before applying it.

Price:
INR 260 for 25 ml
Availability:
It is widely available in every store at a discounted price as well as on several online websites.
Packaging:
The foundation comes in a 25 ml glass bottle with a maroon cap. The cap has a spatula attached to it for easy application. However, a pump bottle would have been a better option but you can’t expect much at this price. The glass bottle is fragile and must be handled with care. Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation has the name written in the front of the bottle and its shade no. at the bottom. The expiration date along with several other details are mentioned on the back side of the Lakme Foundation.

I have always preferred the no makeup look and this Lakme Foundation is ideal for it. I use this on a daily basis and I’m very satisfied with it. It is what it says ‘invisible’ on your face. It blends well with my skin and gives me a natural glow. If I have to attend a party right after work, I apply this foundation and lipstick and I’m good to go. I use the shade 02; as it’s the right match for my skin. This shade is in the light beige color with yellow undertone. I have a combination skin so it fits me perfectly, but with dry skin you might have to apply a good layer of moisturizer before the application. It doesn’t really smell amazing or extraordinary. It has a mild fragrance, which I prefer in my foundation. Though it comes with SPF 8 for sun protection, which isn’t really enough. I prefer applying a sunscreen with a higher SPF prior to it.
Though it is water based but it’s not at all cakey on my skin. It gives me light to medium coverage which is perfect for daily usage. It also gives a matte finish to my face which is the utmost preference in my foundations.
This is my absolute favourite at this price; this is an affordable foundation and too good to be true. The thing I like about Lakme products is that they are super affordable and great at the same time. Lakme always gets perfect products for Indian skin tones.
