Nivea Crème – All Purpose Cream Review

Nivea products have been with my family since the time I can remember. And why just my family, I am sure you too have seen many products like its crème, body lotion, lip balm and what not. Nivea cosmetics and products are like a staple in our vanity. But one thing that makes me sad is how less people promote or discuss this product. I mean after all it’s the most affordable drug store product.

So, here I am to discuss about one such product from the Nivea cosmetics range and that is Nivea crème - all purpose crème. This product is surely a holy grail to many of us. The multi-purpose properties that it carries just make it the perfect product. It is one of the most common and readily found in even the smallest shop. So, what makes this product so dear to heart, why is it loved by all and why do we love carrying that blue tin box around with us. Let’s together answer all these questions.

Claims:

Nivea claims the product to be buttery soft and extremely hydrating. The Nivea crème is one of their best-selling Nivea products with buyer vouching for its credibility. Nivea cosmetics claim to make the skin feel healthy and fresh with its Nivea crème. It claims it to be all purpose that means good for all season and for everybody right from a child to an old person. It also says that the Nivea crème can be used on both the face and the body making it a dual-purpose product! It can be used as a cuticle cream or for your dry elbows and heels. It works magic for all!

It is suitable for all skin types and can be used by men, women and children alike. This dermatological tested Nivea crème is super safe for skin.

Directions to Apply:

This is a highly customer friendly product. It comes in a circular tin box which is blue in color. To use the product, open the box, remove the silver covering. Dig your hands inside the product and take a sufficient amount. Take it between your palms and gently rub your palms. Now apply the product where you want it. I can be used as a body lotion, a face cream, a makeup remover and many more things. Use it daily to achieve a smooth and soft skin.

The product has a very sleek packaging. It comes in a flat blue tin. On buying you might find a transparent covering around the box. On opening the product, you find the cream covered with a silver film or aluminum.  This silver aluminum acts as an extra protective covering to keep the product in place. Now that can be a small issue I will discuss later on.

The packaging is very smart as it is super travel friendly; one can carry it anywhere any time. The tin box is royal blue in color and has Nivea Crème written over it.

Detailed Review of Nivea Crème:

Having to talk about my experience with the product lets first begin with the texture, color and smell. The texture is pretty smooth; it is just like butter and slides in easily. Though the cream is slightly thick in consistency and might feel heavy on the skin. The product is pure white in color. It is so white it seems that if you touch it would get spoiled! The Nivea crème has a very light fragrance and thus should be comfortable with all skin types. Even sensitive skin people should also try it.

The soft, creamy and multipurpose cream can be used as an all-purpose and all-weather cream. Though it is a great product the only drawback that I find is that because of its heavy consistency it tends to make the cream greasy and sticky on the skin. This product can be a problem for oily skin type people as it is super greasy and it can make things worse for people with oily skin. But this can work great as a night crème as it would result in a super soft and baby like skin in the morning. It is preferred to be used as a body crème as it will keep the skin fully hydrated and beautiful.

Must say this is some amazing work from the side of Nivea Cosmetics. I have always been a huge fan of their products especially their body lotion. I make sure to carry Nivea crème with me when I am out of the house. My hands tend to get dry and flaky; this product works magic on it. Just one thing I don’t approve of is that the cream has to be taken out with dipping the fingers in the whole jar. Now that can make it a little unhygienic. Rest it is a great every day product.

Conclusion:

I would say I love the product and everybody should at least try it once. It is budget friendly and thus does not bite on the pocket. It is a cream worth using and it does give super hydration. It is one of the must try Nivea products. It is simply amazing!
